Ghee is the cooking oil of choice in Ayurveda. It is clarified butter with a royal flavor and aroma, made by cooking the butter to remove all the milk solids and water, so as to leave only a pure golden oil. Ghee is considered a rasayana, that is, a substance that promotes vitality and rejuvenation. Ghee is very nourishing, balancing to all three doshas, and helps enhance digestion without irritating the stomach. Ghee is also good for mental alertness and memory, and helps counteract dry skin from the inside out. (Not recommended for people with high cholesterol.)
Ghee can take the place of butter and oil in all of your cooking! Just a little Ghee gives a rich, special flavor to all your favorite dishes.

Ingredients: Grade AA Certified Organic Butter, free of bovine growth hormones, not GMO, non-hydrogenated, free of transfatty acids, free of oxidized cholesterol, salt-free, casein-free and lactose-free.
7.5 oz. glass jar.
Storage: Ghee does not need refrigeration. Store your ghee in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Always use a clean, dry spoon when you dip into your jar of ghee, and keep it free from moisture. You can also melt it completely and pour it into a ghee pot.
